Work History
I kicked off my work as a producer with the production house of House of Bandits in 2017. I was thrown in cold waters there and within a month I was asked to singularly produce my first film advertisment for Deccathlon and the month after for Bosch. Within the following years of collaborations we worked on a lot of creative projects including my biggest project “Let There Be Light”2019, an 8 episode documentary series filmed in 7 different countries about Light and all its facets.
In 2018 I picked up a job as the Media Expert of VAMED Engineering for 2 years starting in 2018. There I did their photography, videography, graphic design, soft interior design, assisted engineers with 3D and 2D consultation and filmed their hospitals in Europe as well as in Africa.
At every point during my journey I was working a few job in Media Production mostly as a producer and picked up side jobs as Camera Operator / AD / PA / Post Editor etc,, to extend my knowledge.
I used this gathered knowledge in the film industry to create a book and educate those who want to learn about “The Pipeline of Media Production” which I offer as a course on the next page of this website.
My latest professional experience is working as “Production Manager” on the second instalment of the animation feature film “Die Heinzels” (The Elfkins – Baking a Difference).
My name is
Amer Baghdadi
Raised in beautiful Egypt, where I had my education and graduated high school with an American diploma. I studied Mass Communication in university for a year, In 2015, I then suddenly had to escape Egypt with my brother under the unfortunate circumstances of my previous Syrian nationality and nonsense political complications.
In Vienna, Austria, I started my new life, earning the citizenship after 8 Years. I spent my first year obsessively learning German and studying creative literature on my own time (Film / Drawing / Design / Architecture / Photography). I caught up fast.
In my second year, I miraculously jumped right into being a lead producer in the film production agency of House of Bandits.
Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the entire media production process, encompassing all phases from pre-production (creative planning, scripts, storyboards, etc.) to Production (camera operating, lights, audio pickup) and post-production (video editing, animation, compositing, sound design, etc.).
I have made sure to use harness those skills daily by creating a shelter at home for creative minds alike. Those who know me, know of the “Creative Lab”.
